Good to be Home!!

Been traveling a lot for the last two weeks.  Last week was New Jersey all week for meetings, and this week was San Diego (just personal preference, but much prefer San Diego this time of year!).  Don't get me wrong... very happy to have a job in this economy, but the travel gets exhausting, so great to be back home.  I had my trusty iPhone camera with me, so I did manage to get a few pics.  I also got very lucky because I had a room with a view at the San Diego Marriott.  I was able to capture some nice sunsets shooting right out my window!
Here's a little piece of the San Diego skyline.
View west.  I think that is the Coronado bridge on the horizon.
Nice view of the harbor, and great sunsets out my hotel window.
Helicopters were very active in the area, and you still see lots of military
presence in San Diego.  Also, I think President Obama was scheduled to
be in town on Labor Day (basketball on the aircraft carrier?).
Dinner out
Night shot outside San Diego Convention Center
Happy Veteran's Day, and enjoy your weekend.  For more great skies from around the world, please check out Skywatch Friday

  5. When we used to live in Southern California, we loved to go to the San Diego Marriott for a weekend trip. We flew our little plane into the big plane Lindberg airport, but it was an easy place to get in and out of the city. A walk up the block and we were on the trolley. Or a short walk away we were on the waterfront. Those are great memories, thanks. - Margy

  17. Well, I wouldn't be complaining too much about the travel if I could a) see a sight like that sunset with helicopters shot and b) photograph it to make everyone else jealous!

Greetings from downunder - SO enjoyed these pix!
