Wow, gorgeous capture..And the timing was perfect.. Lovely sky, have a happy weekend!
Beautiful shot and good point of view here.
Beautiful shots. I used to work for an oil and gas subsidiary of Union Pacific Railroad eons ago. I ended up with seven shares of stock. The best thing is that they send all shareholders a calendar of railroad images every year.
Very well captured .
Looks like a painting.
That's a beauty (she can say since she's not stuck at a RR crossing for-freaking-EVER waiting for one of our own interminably BNSF trains to go by!) :-) I love the angle you took this from - it adds such a nice touch of drama and a lot more of that gorgeous sky. Your special effects are impressive as well! I agree with John's comment above that it looks like a painting, and definitely belongs on a train-themed calendar!
Your timing and patience paid off. Wonderful shot!! Great dramatic sky.
Love the angle of this shot. Great timing and patience on your part. ☺

"Train train, comin' 'round the bendWell it took my baby, but it never will again"
I've seen these trains!
Terrific shot - you can feel the peacefulness and the power in it.
Great photo! Love the way composed it.
And what a lovely shot it is.
Love, love, love this; it's so vintage looking!
I used to drive out there to watch a train or two, but when gas prices were so high, I quit. I was last out there last spring. However, the trains run parallel to Interstate 10, which I drive every day. There just aren't good places and mountains as a beautiful backdrop....oh, well...maybe when I retire I can do this!Cheryl Ann
