The Jacarandas are Blooming!
As the cars drive down the jacaranda-lined streets, you can hear the flowers pop! Nice blue S. CA skies this week... linking the iPhone photo (below) with Skywatch Friday. Click the link to check out incredible skies from around the world!
I love it when the Jacarandas are in bloom here! That mauve-blue flower is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing... we will have to wait until October until we see the streets line with these gorgeous trees.
Beautiful! That's definitely a tree we don't have in Colorado. I visited Palm Springs in July several years ago. It was like being in an oven, but it was definitely beautiful with all kinds of vegetation I wasn't familiar with. Thanks for sharing!
Jacarandas are my choice for Skywatch this week too! The blooms are so large they thump on the car roof while waiting at a stop sign. They like the heat, maybe the Fall bloom will be spectacular too!
Wow! These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Great close-ups and the color is marvelous!
ReplyDeleteIncredible and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty trees -- would love to see a jacaranda tree some day!

ReplyDeleteWe have these blooming around here, but I didn't know what they were. They look very much like a wisteria vine only in tree form. Gorgeous!
