This isn't our most recent full moon. This is from the archives (December, 2015). Things have gotten super-busy over the last couple months, and I just haven't had much time for photography. My little desert cabin in the Joshua Tree area is still going bonkers, and I'm booked solid into April. We're also building a deck off the old trailer and hoping to start rehabbing that soon. So yes, super-busy, but in a good way with stuff I enjoy. I know photography is there waiting for me, and when the time is right, I'll be back clicking again!

Thank heavens for the archives! This is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNice balance between the moon and the foreground. I seem to only get one or the other in my moon shots.

ReplyDeleteI think, it would be a sin to keep this wonderful moon shot hidden for all of us in a dusty archive. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWith archived pictures like this one to share with us, you have a pass to skip photography for a while ;>) (Only don't forget to keep up with your granddaughter ... they change so fast at that age!)

ReplyDeletePeter, We all have busy lives and often times our hobbies have to take the back seat. Thankfully during these crazy periods we can pull from our digital archives and oh my...isn't this a honey of a shot! I love the whole effect of your image!! I would love to capture a nice picture of a super moon! Thanks for sharing and here's hoping things slow down just a bit. Have a fototastic week and thanks for the visit!
ReplyDeleteThis post and the one before it are great - we have too much light pollution here for good moon shots - but I'm planning to get some in the holidays when I can find some darkness.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
