Happy New Year to you and your family! The Living Desert has a wonderful miniature train exhibit, which ALL the kids love! They also have a discovery center room (with the gold top), so be sure and take your granddaughter there. In that room, they have all kinds of hands-on items for the kiddos! LOTS to see in that room for the younger ones! They are constantly adding exhibits. If you go one way, you go to the Africa section (with a petting zoo), and if you go north, you go to the North American exhibits and jaguars. Be sure to stop and view the Mexican wolves (if they are out) and the mountain lion. Her paws are... ENORMOUS! We saw 5 of the bighorn sheep right by the fence of their exhibit last trip. I'm not sure you could see it all in one visit...maybe you could, but I'm DONE after about 1 1/2 hours! Enjoy! I hope you can get there soon. ~Cheryl Ann~
