Cloudy skies, interesting rock formations, and flowers were the highlights of this hike in Joshua Tree National Park. I'll let the photos do the talking. Well, most of the talking!

ReplyDeleteI'm not used to hiking with you on such dark days. I know every area can have changes in the weather but you usually share bright sunny days or starlight in the desert.

I love how you lead us with an unremarkable title to your series only to surprise with such beautiful photos! Hiking on cloudy days is not only good for photographing, but to keep you cooler in such an arid climate. I love how the cinch weed leads us to the rock formation as if it is sculpted. That photo of the lenticular cloud formation is amazing.
