Homestead Cabin Sky

Cabin for sale:  Wonder Valley, California (East of Twentynine Palms near Joshua Tree). These desert cabins are usually on 5 acres, are very inexpensive, and have big huge desert vistas. The downside? No water, no electricity, and very isolated. You have to be OK with really roughing it!
I like the way the clouds look above the roofline of the desert cabin in the photo below.

  10. I'm camping in something about that size or smaller right now, but at least we have electricity and water ))! A beautiful picture indeed. We enjoyed meeting some of the local desert characters who lived out like that when we spent time down in that area. One guy described himself as a 'desert rat' and said he wouldn't live any other way.

  17. Great pics -- Much as I like camping, I don't think I could handle roughing it that much, LOL. My Skies

  19. Stunning - as always. What fun it would be to spend some time in one of those little cabins - oh the stars at night - the sound of crickets and the bats flitting about.
