Just a Sliver of a Moon

Tonight's moon from my front porch. This one taken quickly as a plane was passing by, which shows up as a couple red lights and a squiggly line.
And this one taken with a little more care.

  3. Brilliant, wish I could take moon shots like that but the lens is too small.

  4. Amazing shots! I wish I could take moon pics like that, but little camera lacks that capability. At least I get good sunsets from it! Thanks for visiting! ☺

  6. I think that the plane is really adding a surreal touch to the composition. Nice one.

  8. Fabulous! A photographer friend once told me the moon is one of the most difficult objects to shoot.

  10. Very clear shots. I'm trying to figure out why the plane made such a squiggly line - they're usually straight lines in my night photos!

  12. TRULY amazing! I don't know how you do that. BTW the way my son takes pictures while refueling is with a GoPro!~ I'm not sure how that works but somehow he manages. Thanks for visiting and for commenting on my Skywatch post!
