Desert Clouds

I took these photos two weeks ago at our place out near Joshua Tree. I usually like to anchor my sky shouts with some foreground, but the clouds were so big and fluffy I thought I would try something different.

I tried to get creative with the photo above. I flipped it vertically on itself and then added a photo of a jet I had in my files. Fun stuff!
The shot below was taken the same weekend. I was out with camera and tripod taking sunset shots, my wife was walking the dog and was taking pics with her point-and-shoot, and my granddaughter was just a blur of activity! A fun shot that makes me smile when I see it.
We took my Mom out to the desert last trip also. She's totally smitten with her great granddaughter!

    Funny I was watching a plane fly past our house the other day and seeing this photo made me think about it. Nice tick. Your mum looks like mine would have, worried the child would fall

    Sweet photos of your family and that last shot was adorable. The smile on your Mom's face put a smile on mine and your little granddaughter is beyond adorable. Loved those cloud photos too and your plane shot was impressive. Have a great weekend :)

    Just a perfect day here ... beautiful sky, the kind of clouds that encourage day-dreaming. And the series just keeps getting better and better. The joy shines through the lovely portraits of Grandma and Great-grandma and who would not be smitten! (as I'm sure the photographer is as well). (Amazing editing job on the jet one too...

    Our granddaughter is 19 months and I'm just smitten with her! :-) Yours is a real cutie pie! Glad your mom gets to see and know her. My grandmother was around until our kids were in high school...she lived to be 100 years!
