Indian Cove

Indian Cove in Joshua Tree National Park... we had almost the entire place to ourselves! It's too hot this time of year to camp or rock climb, so no crowds, and a great place to visit or have a picnic late in the day as the sun goes down.

  16. Oh yes. I've been following the temperatures down there which have been into the teens at times. That will keep the tourists away indeed. Beautiful images. Cute little desert rat you have scurrying around your feet.

  23. A lovely series of photos and the two last shots are wonderful! What a great place to have a picnic as the sun goes down. I was there years ago in the middle of August and remember well how hot it was, but oh my goodness what a gorgeous place to be. Would dearly love to go back one day.

  29. It is just so beautiful!!! Last June I was in LA and I asked my cousin to bring me to Joshua Tree but his car broke down the day before we left :( Maybe next time! But for now, I'll just enjoy your stunning photographs of it!

This photo is just stunning! The tree is just so dramatic under the clear blue skies!

    Greetings from the Philippines!
