UFO Sighting!

I was totally focused on the beautiful desert sunset a couple weeks ago...

My wife's windmill.
I continued to keep my view west and northwest as the clouds picked up pink and red hues while the sun disappeared behind the hills.
The old trailer... I hope to make a permanent concrete pad and clean it up one of these days!
A work in progress...
My old truck.
The sky was so pretty, I just kept shooting away at random things. It wasn't until I looked over my shoulder in the opposite direction of the sunset that I noticed... the "UFO"!
Pretty cool, eh? To my eye, it looks like a perfectly formed flying saucer!!
Linking with Skywatch Friday. Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to look behind you every once in a while to see what you're missing!!

  28. Your western cloud formations are sensational. I like the cerulean color of the sky in the header and first photo, too, and also in the oxidized surface of your old truck body. I admire the runningboard of the vehicle in the header, I can see why it fell into disrepair from the cargo in the back, the owner was trying to fence someone in. The Joshua trees look frozen in place but if you turn your back on them they might be edging closer and closer.... Cool trailer, it makes me think of the trailer in Kill Bill 2.
