More Photos from the Airshow

I just couldn't resist sharing some additional photos from the Great Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, CA, that took place a couple weekends ago. These were taken during the second half of the show and are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Last shot of the day!

As we were walking back to the car after a fun day at the airshow, the golden light over the ocean caught my eye. Then I noticed the lifeguard closing up the tower for the day and taking down the flag.

    Wow, these are just awesome captures of the air show. I love the corkscrew and red,white and blue colors. The last flag shot is beautiful too. Great series! Wishing you a great day and weekend ahead!

    Love the flag colors in the air. These pilots are so stunningly good, I can't have nothing but admiration for their dare devil skills! You seeing the life guard taking down the flag is a perfect ending for a post like this!

    Wow, I am glad that you are still posting pics. I have never seen an air show remotely close to what you saw, so keep posting if you got more photos I love it. They only way I could love it more is if there was an air show going on over the desert while you are on way of your explorations. That would be the ultimate.

    You know I thought I recognised the planes, they are the Red Arrows from the UK, you were treated to the best at that show. See them flying around here sometimes.

    Oh my! These are awesome shots! We used to go to the Air Show in Chicago when we lived there. It was always so thrilling.

    Wonderful air show shots but my favorite is the last one. Love the golden hues. Flag is just so. Lovely framing and composition. Superb shot!

    That last shot is so wonderful! This reminds me that it has been years since I've seen an air show. I've never seen one near water, either.

    Love the shots flying over the pier. Precision flying is so fun to watch, a wee bit breathtaking incase anything goes wrong. Love your new header shot SPP ✨

    Beautiful! I love air shows though seldom get to one these days. I've never seen coloured smoke from a plane. It looks fabulous though am sure it is probably not good for the environment. Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

    Utter awe! Both at the amazing feats of your subjects *and* of your photography. The loops and drops and corkscrews look terrifying, but I am most struck by the precision and elegance of the flying flag. The show must have been amazing to see. Your post is almost as good as being there (and quieter)).

    I don't remember an airshow at Huntington Beach, but it sure looks like a perfect place for it either on land or out in a boat. - Margy
