Tahitian Honeymoon

It's been a crazy, wonderful week. My son was married on Saturday, then Sunday night jetted off with his new bride to Tahiti for their honeymoon. It's a place I've long dreamed of visiting but never have. And given the length and expense of the flight, not sure I ever will. But very pleased and happy for my son and my new daughter-in-law! After seeing a few photos from the last couple days, I couldn't resist sharing. In my opinion, these are some of the most beautiful skies you will ever see (all photos taken by my son and daughter-in-law)!
Paddle boarding in paradise!

Over-water accommodations!

Under water celebration!

Ahhh.... we can all dream. Maybe someday 😎
In the meantime, congratulation to my son and his new bride! What a beautiful place to celebrate!!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Congrats to your son and his wife. The pictures look gorgeous. (My mother went to Tahiti years ago. Hated it. Said it was hot and muggy and she was miserable the whole time.)

  9. Congrats to your son and daughter-in-law. You should go!! Think of all the water and underwater pics you could take!! Yeah, you're right, the bag lady is a character. I've put all my art stuff behind lock and key, because she's coming for an overnighter. My son wished us "good luck." We are warned:):)
All in good jest. Think how boring our life would be without grand children:)

  30. So beautiful. Look at that clear water. Would love to stay in one of the rooms on stilts. Kind of like a float cabin without any motion. - Margy

  45. Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks to them and to you for sharing the gorgeous water and skies! Wow. ... Our daughter and SIL are homebodies, but their three children are well-traveled and have shared some pictures of places that in equal parts made me thrilled for them and envious (Well, maybe, 75% happy for them.). ... are you getting smoke effects from the fires?

  46. Congratulations to you all. A spectacular place for a honeymoon! Can't decide if I am more mesmerized by the clarity of the water, or the picture-perfect sunset/sunrise. Wow.

  47. Surprise! After a 5 month absence I am back! First of all, congratulations to your son and his new bride. I wish them many years of happiness together. I love their spectacular photos of Tahiti! I was there many years ago (probably at least 35 years ago!) and I didn't really have a great camera at the time. It's truly paradise on earth. If you ever get a chance to go, you should! Hope life is good with you.
