For those of us that celebrate, Thanksgiving 2020 will be a subdued, small group affair. COVID seems to have the upper hand at the moment, and large gatherings are to be avoided. For us, that means just our household unit will be gathering around the dinner table. But that doesn't mean we should be any less thankful. Quite the opposite, because we are fortunate in so many ways!
So sharing some recent skies with you from the Coyote Hills area. I promise to take you back out to the desert with my next post!

ReplyDeleteHey, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours! We do indeed have many blessings, especially our health. At this moment, I am grateful to be sipping eggnog and watching football with my "boys", while the cooking turkey aroma fills the air ...
ReplyDeleteDearest SP&P,
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving back to you, time is still in favor of yours...
We had a lovely bike ride with 77°F.

ReplyDeleteThank you! - here in Texas it's all a little bit more relaxed about Covid - it was a nice thanksgiving with a couple we knew from 40 years ago! (with their kids and grand kids). A lot to catch up on! It looks like you had Thanksgiving in L.A.? I've never seen these large cargo ships in Long Beach - do you know what they're carrying?

ReplyDeleteMany of us celebrated Thanksgiving in much the same way with only immediate household members although phone calls and video chats did compensate a bit. The sky shots were lovely to see for a change from the dessert. That first one was stunning!
ReplyDeletePainterly and dramatic clouds, well captured.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Advent time
Makes you wonder if the truck could be an answer to a mystery or an unsolved crime.
