I could kick myself for not getting out there when I lived in OC-- twice. Well, at least I got to Anza-Borrego in full bloom once--- in the late 70s. Incredible pictures.
You keep outdoing yourself with these sky shots. I loved the tribute to McMurtry, too. I once saw a sunset out in Archer City, where he lived, that nearly rivaled one of these; sadly I didn't get a photo. I did write about him on Owl's Farm, though. I only wish I had something as pretty as these to illustrate the post with.
