San Francisco, Day #4

Well, actually we're staying at a small town in the Point Reyes area (north of SF) called Inverness, which is on Tomales Bay. We've been driving all over the Point Reyes National Seashore... it's kind of a photographer's paradise up here! I have a huge number of photos to process and catalog. Heading back home tomorrow, so this will be my last post for a couple days.  Just want to share a few of my favorite photos from today.

Took this yesterday... "Surfing Alcatraz".  They were surfing almost directly under
the Golden Gate Bride, with views of Alcatraz in the background.

This beached fishing boat is very popular with photographers, and was very close to our motel. One of my favorite photos.

    Wow, that photo you made of the surfer is really cool! Love how the water comes up right behind him. And Alcatraz in the background, I love it!

    The fishing boat is SO COOL!!! Wish I could photograph it too! It would be really good material for a HDR-shot.

    Well, now that I am at my computer I see you have been here for four days already. Looks like you hit some great spots, your pictures are really great. The boat on the shore is really spectacular. You were so very lucky with the weather, glad, always makes taking photos a lot more fun. Just beautiful, beautiful shots.

    Great photos, all of them - but I think the shipwreck is AWESOME! So well composed. The "surfing Alcatrez" is also very cool :)

    great series of photos, my favorite being the third one down with your wife further up the road...the light and shadows and then her lone distant figure is very compelling
