Rear View Skywatch

Haven't been doing much photography recently, so best I can do is to pull from the archives. The good news is that I have a ton of photos in my archives! This is out on Highway 62 in 29 Palms, CA, as the sun was setting... and catching this beautiful sky in the rear view mirror of my Jeep. Hoping for smoother sailing ahead... and more photography!

    I love the beautiful composition of this photo, and its haunting quality. Chrysler Group LLC should pay you some handsome royalties for such a lovely display of their Jeep brand! :-) Sorry to hear you haven't been doing much photography lately, but glad for the opportunity to see one of your archived shots.

    It evokes special memories and emotions of driving those off the freeway roads through stretches of desert around sunset.

    Thats a nice image - love the way that the mirror help keep the exposure balanced.

    I have no idea why the birds were present in such numbers - they did not seem to be feeding. I know that they migrate - so maybe I was a pre-flight gathering.

    This is a stunning sky/reflection shot! I love everything about this photo--the composition, the colors, the telephone poles standing straight and tall above the highway and against the beautiful sky. Wow!! Fabulous capture!
