Twenty-five feet long, eight feet wide, and the biggest mess you've ever seen!
Today my wife found a harmonica collection...
An old knife collection...
An art deco bathroom light fixture...
A wooden Buddha...
An antique wooden box with old wall plates, flash lights, a Marine medallion... even some dentures!
Old comic books...
And perhaps my favorite... a couple of antique fans. An Emerson "Junior", and an Emerson "Seabreeze". Very cool. The Emerson Seabreeze was made in Missouri in 1905!
Lovin that harmonica collection AND the wooden Buddha. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Buddha that is smiling before. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteman oh man, i want those fans... tooo coool =)
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few of those old fans and all of them work. That's a rolling antique mall you've got there!
ReplyDeleteAmazing finds...the old fans and the harmonica's especially! Great photos.

ReplyDeleteWonderful transition from photo to photo. Most enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteAwesome collections, great pictures, my favorite is the one of the trailer!
ReplyDeleteStaying tuned to see how it goes. Sounds like your work is also fun. Liking your finds. :)
ReplyDeleteThat trailer is quite the treasure trove!
ReplyDeleteIt's like a tour through an antique store! LOL! Love it...I have a wooden buddha too, but he's not as weathered. Thanks for stopping by at my Guemes Island post.
ReplyDeleteI love those old fans! There's a treasure trove in there. It must be nice to find some neat relics during the clean up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure hunt! Great finds. I'm gonna' have to backtrack to see where the old trailer came from.
ReplyDeleteWe just read an article about the horrible amount of vandalism at Joshua Tree. It said that Barker Dam had been closed because of it, but didn't say anything about how the Park Service planned to clean up. Just made me want to cry. And I thought of you guys and wondered if you had any more information.
That is the whole fun of cleaning. Finding old lost things. Anyway, I am sure they will make great photographs later on.
ReplyDelete1905!!! I did not know they even made fans that long ago!!! Your wife has found some great treasures!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, great stuff. You all need to start a second-hand shop.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a treasure trove...I'll have to see what is in my garage LOL
ReplyDeleteThese are really interesting pics - and objects. I can really relate to what you are doing too... I am at the moment cleaning out my Dad's house and shed - sadly we lost him recently.
