Skies Over 29

I haven't had a chance to do much desert photography recently, but I did get a couple nice sunset shots last weekend in 29 Palms, CA. This one is more "moon-rise" than sunset, but I like the colors and lights of the town in the background.

 This one's my favorite... just an old dusty desert road, a short walk from our house, that disappears off in the distance. Very little light left, but wonderful colors in the sky. A very typical scene you can find just about anywhere you go in the desert.

    Hi there - after taking my "after sunset" pictures I think I'll be doing more low light photographs. Looks like you used the same techniques.

    My, what beautiful skies you have! :-) Your SkyWatch photo never fail to disappoint, and these are superlative! I tried to choose my favorite of the two, and then I chose to give up. They're different but equally gorgeous!
