No new hiking adventures this week, so I'll share some recent photos from the Indian Cove area of Joshua Tree National Park. Some of the photos have only minor tweaks and some have big huge edits. I'll let you guess which is which!
Thanks for stopping by!!
"Leave only footprints, take only photos"
The first and last are obvious, but the others are no more or less spectacular than your normal output... Other than the occasion rather large moon. I don't question the tools of the artist, I only open myself to the result. Your posts are always mind-blowing.
ReplyDeleteCool and creative!
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome photos ~ especially the skies but also like the rock formations ~ the 2nd and 3rd photos look like a family of 'rock critters' ~ love them!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,

ReplyDeleteLoved the moon blending pictures. The last one stunning. Looks like joining the image with its mirror
ReplyDeleteBrilliant they way you do that, I'm not proficient in photo editing like that so make do with what I have
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!! It is fun to play around and try different editing stuff. And you even have a Rorschach image.

ReplyDeleteWow great and lovely . Keep commenting on my blog because I love your comments.
ReplyDeleteSome of your creations are wonderful again.
ReplyDeleteSome of your manipulated moon shots would make awesome science fiction type book covers. I enjoyed them all.
ReplyDeleteI am a bit jealous of your editing technique. A bit I say because I don't have time to do this even if I really really want to learn it.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shots ! Love this wild rocky landscape !
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos! It must have been fun to work out those special effects.
ReplyDeleteI love the number two picture with the moon so perfectly captured between the rocks. And that last one. Did the clouds arrange themselves or did they have some help?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Inger. The last photo definitely had a lot of "help"! I like the way it came out... the clouds remind me of a Rorschach test!
Deletecreative and great works
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the big tweaks are about the moon, but it really doesn't matter -- because they are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat skies! The mirror effects are interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the 'test' - I agree with others that most tweaks involve adding moons or making a double vision of a shot. In any event, another set of gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky and rocks formations.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty! I love seeing that crescent moon.
ReplyDeleteI can tell all of those are right out of the camera.
