Flea Market Cameras!

My sister over at Lap Dog Knits found some very cool old cameras at a local flea market a while back, and I've been wanting to share them on the blog.  I have them 'on display' in the living room (thanks, Sis!), and used my macro lens to get some detailed photos.  Hope you like them and that they bring back some fond memories!
The Kodak Duaflex II.  I'm hoping to do some TtV photos one of these days!
The Brownie Starflex... I think there were millions of these sold!
The Ansco Pioneer.  I think this one is older than the others.
Brownie Hawkeye... I'd forgotten how huge the flash units were!
Wow, we've come a long way with our digital cameras, haven't we?!  Please check out Macro Monday for really great macro photos!

  5. Hi there - great old cameras. I often linger over similar things at garage sales (yard sales in the US I think!) - but I normally notice my wife giving me 'that look' - so I don’t buy them! Maybe I should go on my own next time!

  6. Thank you for bringing back all kinds of memories with these. Just as computers have made potential writers of us all, so have digital cameras (and phones!) given us all a chance to be photographers on a daily basis. Such changes!

  9. Hubby went through a stage a few years ago when he bought some old Hasselblads (he now has 2)...and a couple old Canons. Oh, yes, and a Brownie like his mom had years ago!!!! He also found me a Konica camera just like the one my dad bought for me when I was in high school. He actually found all of them on either EBAY or Craigslist.

  10. I was thinking how great it was that I wasn't old enough to remember these, but then the last one brought back a faint memory. I'm sure when I was very young my parents had one like it. I'll have to ask my mom what happened to it. Great shots!

  11. These are pretty cool, we never had a camera until instamatics became popular. I bet some of these would still work, try that in 50 years with a digital camera!

  19. Oh, my gosh, I woldn't even know what to do with one of those. I have never owned anything but a digital. Pretty cool though seeing how far cameras have come. And like someone else said, I bet those still do work--or could be fixed resonably easily--which is mre than can be said for some of the digital cameras I have owned.

  20. These indeed bring back memories. I started out with a Brownee box camera and a Baby Brownee, but that was a fe "life times" ago.
Must say that I do enjoy the digital era
