Beautiful photos of Joshua Tree! I love the Autumn tree colors left on the B&W photo background.
ReplyDeleteFrom the yard pictures in my blog you should know there were once 4 trees in that yard and one was very invasive,a Shamel Ash. It was removed 20 years ago and the damage had already been done it was the hollow spaces from rotting roots that caused the final shift and damage to the main line.
Stunning photos. I've never been to that part of the world. Your photos make it look "otherworldly".
ReplyDeleteHello.

Lovely shots! I would like to walk in this area with my camera!
ReplyDeleteI like the distant view of your last shot!
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a big fan of doctored pix - but the effects you've used are AWESOME! Particularly like the canvas effect - it adds an extra dimension to what was already a great photo!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos." B&W, except the tree" is a favorite and "The road home" so inspiring!
ReplyDeletethose are great! especially love that first one! really great composition and treatment!
ReplyDeleteA great series of shots! So...did you see any rattlesnakes?

ReplyDeleteNice photos and treatment! The bent trunk looks like one of the arches in the National Parks!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, a great eye!
Very cool...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first photo. it looks a bit like hipstamatic or something similar. and your header image is awesome too. you do good work, I like your photos very much. thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello, I truly appreciate it. happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate all the comments! Karen, no rattlesnakes. I think it's getting a little too cold for snake activity. My wife "found" one a few miles from this area this last summer. Fastest I've seen her run in a long time!
ReplyDeleteI love how you experiment with different textures and styles... I also like your adventures...Have an excellent weekend!
ReplyDeleteJeg kan slet ikke få armene ned efter at have set dine bileder. Tak også for din kommentar.
