A recent photo taken in 29 Palms facing North towards the Marine Base. Not sure what formed the 5 cloud streaks... contrails? |

Same as above... I posted this on 'Flare Fridays' on Flickr. Sorry, it's a little (OK, a lot) over the top! My title in Flickr is 'Psychoactive Joshua Tree!' Friday's have a lot going on! Joshua Tree in Flickr
What surreal photos...I just love the vibrant colors.
ReplyDeleteyou have unique photos! i love them. I like their vibrant colors too. thanks much for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteRegards!
These fotos look like paintings!
ReplyDeleteYou are a photopro - no doubt.
ReplyDeleteThe 5 cloud streaks I would suspect are made by airplanes?
The fence does look like a painting, and I like it. The Joshua tree, did it come out that way on its own or did you do something to it? I had a photo come out that way when the sun caught the lens, resulting in psychedelic wavey lines and colours. The first pic looks like an aerobatic team had left their contrails behind.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comments! Jackie, I cheated on the JT photo... added the 'psychedelic' colors using Photoshop. And I had the exact same impression when taking the first pic... aerial acrobatic team leaving contrails, especially since the airspace is over the 29 Palms Marine Base.
ReplyDeleteyour skywatch image is interesting
ReplyDeletelike the perspective on the fenceline one
Skywatch image is amazing - love the colours and those trails are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteGreat fence photo like the processing. Likewise the tree - very good.
I've been on vacation and missed posting on Skywatch, but I'm so glad I found your post. Beautiful. Wild.
ReplyDeleteThose are all wonderful photos! I love the sky colors and blue mountains in the Twenty-nine Palms photo, the fence looks like a Wyeth painting (lovely, rustic simplicity and composition), and I love your trippin' Joshua tree! :-)
ReplyDeleteCool fence! I love it! The Josgua tree is interesting, but I will have to gaze at it a while longer before I can make up my mind...
